Handcrafted Soaps!

Still no art! I am in soap mode methinks. I made 55 bars of soap this weekend, for Easter gifts. And some cream soap for fun. These are some of the Green clay soaps.

The soap is looking great, never tried that myself. But hubby is makeing bodylotion and such stuff for us. How do you go about making soap? Do you make it all yourself? I read about it and found it rather complicated with all that stuff you have to cook and be carefull with.

Thanks Morganna. You do have to be careful with the lye...because it is very dangerous but it is not at all hard and when you make cold process soap there is no cooking involved. Just add the lye solution to the oils and mix well. The oils and lye turn into soap and glycerine. You have to wait 1 month for it to finish making soap but then it is done. I will send you instructions.
